PianoForte featuring original music by Włodek Pawlik

BPI Real Estate Poland, a Belgian developer active on the Polish market for 15 years, has entered into a unique artistic collaboration with Włodek Pawlik – a world-renowned jazz pianist, composer, and Grammy Award winner. The artist has composed two original pieces exclusively for the PianoForte development. The dedicated compositions will accompany the project’s marketing communications and, once construction is complete, will be played throughout the common areas of the building.

PianoForte is a project by BPI Real Estate Poland, developed in the heart of Dolny Mokotów in Warsaw. The development is part of the premium real estate segment, with its name and location serving as a symbolic reference to the world of music. The decision to collaborate with one of Poland’s most distinguished musicians was deliberate – a natural step that underscores the exceptional character of the developer’s latest project. Włodek Pawlik, the internationally acclaimed jazz pianist and Grammy-winning composer, has written and personally recorded two piano pieces for the PianoForte development – “PianoForte I” and “PianoForte II”. Their sound reflects the vision of a comfortable, elegant, and harmonious space in which every detail, from the music to the architecture, forms an integrated and distinctive whole.

“From the very beginning of the PianoForte design process, we were guided by the vision of blending urban aesthetics with the harmony inspired by art. Collaborating with Włodek Pawlik is both an honour and an opportunity to bring an additional emotional dimension to the development. The pieces composed by the maestro specifically for this project will be played in the common areas of the building once construction is complete. Fortunately, we do not have to wait until then to hear them – they will already accompany PianoForte’s marketing communications during the construction phase,” said Mariusz Gajżewski, Head of Sales, Marketing and Communication at BPI Real Estate Poland.

“Music and architecture share much in common – both are founded on rhythm, proportion, and emotion. When composing the pieces for PianoForte, I envisioned it as a space that both inspires and soothes. Creating music for a place that is still taking shape yet already has a soul is a truly unique experience for me,” explained Włodek Pawlik.

The name PianoForte pays homage to the local history and musical heritage of the site. Before the war, it was home to the renowned Małecki Piano and Grand Piano Factory, whose instruments once filled homes and concert halls with music and are now treasured museum pieces. This historical inspiration is reflected not only in the project’s name but also in its distinctive artistic element – two original compositions created especially for PianoForte by Włodek Pawlik, who, as a student at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, owned and played a Małecki piano for many years.

The collaboration with Włodek Pawlik is part of BPI Real Estate Poland’s broader philosophy of creating developments rooted in their cultural, social, and urban context. For many years, the developer has successfully integrated art into its projects – from initiatives involving local artists to distinctive works featured in shared spaces. PianoForte will be no exception. In the building’s elegant lobby, alongside a reception area with concierge service, there will be bas-reliefs by Krzysztof Kołodziejski, a renowned Warsaw-based artist, whose works will create a striking first impression and emphasise the unique character of this exceptional place.

PianoForte is the latest Warsaw development in the portfolio of BPI Real Estate Poland. The project will feature 100 apartments ranging from 38 to 134 square metres, housed in an elegant seven-storey building. The design also includes an underground garage, electric vehicle charging stations, and parking spaces for bicycles and motorcycles. Thoughtfully designed layouts, large windows and loggias ensure abundant natural light and a seamless connection between the interiors and their surroundings. Located near Morskie Oko Park and the Royal Łazienki Park, the development offers residents exceptional comfort – the tranquillity of nature paired with convenient access to the city centre and a wide range of cultural and lifestyle amenities.
